JOB OVERVIEW:

We are seeking a passionate and experienced English Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching GCSE English, a degree in English and experience in online group tutoring. This role is perfect for someone who loves teaching, is creative in their approach, and is comfortable using digital platforms to engage with students. In addition to teaching, you will be responsible for creating homework assignments and developing educational content for our social media channels.

Key Responsibilities:

• Online Tutoring: Provide high-quality online group tutoring sessions for GCSE English students. (Year 7 to 9). Adapt teaching methods to cater to different learning styles and ensure all students grasp complex mathematical concepts.
• Content Creation: Develop and prepare engaging homework assignments, practice questions, and revision materials that align with the GCSE curriculum.
• Social Media Engagement: Create and share educational content for our social media platforms, including short videos, infographics, and posts that simplify and explain biological concepts to a broader audience.
• Student Support: Offer guidance and support to students, addressing their questions and providing additional resources to help them succeed.
• Collaborate with the Marketing Team: To produce creative campaigns that can be used for advertising

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS

• Degree in English - acheived top grades, both at University and at A level*
• 1+ year of teaching experience - preferably with some experience teaching online classes
• Strong knowledge of the GCSE English curriculum.*
• Experience in teaching KS3 & KS4.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to create engaging and educational content for social media.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
