Description:
We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Educator who possesses the expertise to teach a range of English language courses for secondary students, from ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to regular high school English courses. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in English education, a proven record of English instruction, a deep understanding of language acquisition, and the ability to engage and inspire students across different proficiency levels.
Responsibilities:
- Secondary Level English Instruction:
- Design and deliver comprehensive lessons for secondary-level English courses.
- Help students with assignments in English classes, from ESL to ENG4U.
- Explore literature, language arts, and critical thinking skills with students.
- Foster an appreciation for literature, language, and effective communication.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Education or a related field.
- Teaching certification and relevant license.
- Previous experience teaching ESL and/or Secondary Level English.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse student needs.
- Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for the English language.
