We are seeking a qualified and passionate English Educator who possesses the expertise to teach a range of English language courses for secondary students, from ESL (English as a Second Language) classes to regular high school English courses. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in English education, a proven record of English instruction, a deep understanding of language acquisition, and the ability to engage and inspire students across different proficiency levels.

Responsibilities:

• Secondary Level English Instruction:
• Design and deliver comprehensive lessons for secondary-level English courses.
• Help students with assignments in English classes, from ESL to ENG4U.
• Explore literature, language arts, and critical thinking skills with students.
• Foster an appreciation for literature, language, and effective communication.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Education or a related field.
• Teaching certification and relevant license.
• Previous experience teaching ESL and/or Secondary Level English.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching strategies to diverse student needs.
• Passion for education and a commitment to fostering a love for the English language.
