JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated English Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for fostering a positive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic growth. This role requires a strong ability to communicate effectively, educate diverse learners, and create lesson plans that cater to various learning styles. The English Teacher will also play a crucial role in developing students’ writing skills and critical thinking abilities.

EXPERIENCE

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

  • A degree in English, Education, or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience in classroom teaching or tutoring is highly desirable.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and student records efficiently.
  • Proficiency in proofreading and editing written materials to guide students in their writing endeavors.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
  • A commitment to fostering an inclusive learning environment for all students.
  • Instructor must be available some weekday evenings. School is open from 3:30 pm - 7:00 pm.
