Job Summary:
We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic English teacher to teach GCSE English Language and Literature. The ideal candidate will foster a love for reading and writing while developing students’ critical thinking, communication skills, and exam success.

REQUIREMENTS:

• A degree in English, English Literature, or a related subject
• Experience teaching at KS3 and KS4 (GCSE level)
• Strong command of the English language and deep literary understanding
• Excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills

• Teach English Language and Literature in line with the national curriculum (AQA or Edexcel)
• Deliver well-structured and engaging lessons that cater to different learning styles
• Assess and provide feedback to students to support progress and attainment
• Contribute to the planning and implementation of schemes of work and assessments
• Support literacy development across the school
• Prepare students for GCSE exams through targeted intervention and exam techniques
