JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for an English teacher to join our after-school program at Happy Minds Academy. The teacher will work with elementary students (Grades K–5) to build skills in phonics, vocabulary, grammar, writing and reading comprehension.
The ideal candidate is caring, patient, and experienced in teaching young learners. This position requires strong communication skills and a passion for helping students grow in their English learning.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in English Education or related field; teaching certification preferred.
  • Experience working with students in an educational setting is highly desirable.
  • Strong skills in lesson planning, behavior management, and literacy education.
  • Proficiency in utilizing learning technologies to enhance instruction.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to mentor students and foster their academic growth.
  • Knowledge of special education practices is a plus.
