We are hiring English Language Teacher to provide in-person customized lessons to our clients in Columbia, SC. C195140/195141 Job Information: Back-to-back lessons for an adult and 3-year-old child Address: Clark Ridge Rd., Columbia, South Carolina, USA Availability: Tuesday - Thursday between 3:30pm - 6pm Preferred start date: March 31st Lesson Frequency: 1x per week Lesson Duration: 1 hour per lesson Student’s Current location/time zone: Eastern Standard Time Current target language level: Advanced Native and other spoken languages: German Student’s language needs and goals: Pronunciation and local accents; common phrases and native speakers use; slang; safety and emergency information; job-related vocabulary; how to be polite in the new job; presentation tips; business culture and language. Student: Child, Age 3 Current target language level: Beginner Native and other spoken languages: Native: German; Other: Slovak Student’s language needs and goals: I want him to improve as he just started 4 months ago to learn English Building vocabulary; holiday celebrations; popular hobbies or interests in the new country; culture of their new country; conversations with native speakers; making friends. Additional Information: Interests: Everything on cars, farm, motorcross Responsibilities: Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons Developing curricula based on learners’ proficiency level and desired outcomes Monitoring students’ progress and guiding learners toward learning goals Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner Qualifications: Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in the target language Certificate or degree in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second-language acquisition, or related field Minimum of two years of teaching experience All Global LT instructor positions are freelance positions.
