ROLE SUMMARY:
St Louis School in Milan is a private international school that caters for 1,750 children from the ages of 2 to 18. The Early Years, the Primary School, and the Middle School offer a curriculum based on the British National Curriculum at the Colonna and Caviglia Campuses. Middle School ends in Year 9 and leads into the IGCSE and IBDP examinations in the High School. The High School has an exceptional average IBDP score (www.stlouisschool.com). KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are currently seeking to hire an experienced and enthusiastic English Teacher for our Colonna Campus who is fully qualified to work with students from Years 7 to 9. The ideal candidate will be an educator who can adapt quickly to a new and exciting learning environment, demonstrating strong subject knowledge, a passion for English literature and language, and the ability to foster critical thinking and analytical skills. We seek a teacher who can create an engaging and intellectually stimulating classroom, guiding students through literary analysis, creative writing, and effective communication.
A strong commitment to purposeful learning and teaching, collaborative planning, and open communication is essential. Proven experience within an international, bilingual, or multilingual context would also be beneficial.
