REQUIREMENTS

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Strong subject knowledge in English literature and language
• Previous teaching experience within a UK school
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills

Supply Today is seeking a motivated and inspiring English Teacher to join a secondary school on a long-term contract in Birmingham B36. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified teacher to deliver high-quality lessons, support student progress, and play a key role in a supportive school environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 experience desirable)
• Assess, monitor, and report on student achievement in line with school policies
• Create an inclusive and positive classroom environment where all learners thrive
• Support pupils of varying abilities to achieve their full potential
• Contribute to departmental planning and whole-school initiatives
