BEST BRAINS LEARNING CENTER - BRAMPTON(STEELES), ON

Best Brains is looking for a dedicated and experienced Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) to lead our English programs for students from Junior Kindergarten to Grade 8. The ideal candidate will have mandatory experience working in an Ontario school, with a strong background in delivering the Ontario curriculum and a proven ability to manage diverse learning needs.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Mandatory Ontario College of Teachers (OCT) certification in good standing.
  • A minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in an Ontario publicly funded or Ministry-inspected private school.
  • Strong knowledge of Ontario’s educational standards and expectations for grades JK-8.
  • Demonstrated ability to inspire a love of learning in young students.
  • Proven skills in creating and implementing effective educational programs.
  • Proactive, passionate, and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Delivery: Instruct students in English literacy, reading, and writing, following the Ontario curriculum for the Primary and Junior divisions.
  • Student Assessment: Conduct ongoing assessments to identify individual student strengths and weaknesses and create targeted plans for academic improvement.
  • Program Development: Design and lead specialized programs in public speaking and creative writing, fostering confidence and skill development.
  • Differentiated Instruction: Adapt teaching methods to cater to various learning styles and patterns, ensuring every student is challenged and supported.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, disciplined, and engaging learning environment.
  • Parent Communication: Provide regular updates to parents on student progress and areas for growth.
