MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated English curriculum in line with the school’s aims and policies.
  • Provide strategic leadership for the English subject area, ensuring its effective development and continuous improvement.
  • Raise student attainment by fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment.
  • Share best practice and support the professional development of colleagues to enhance teaching quality across the school.
  • Monitor and support students’ academic progress and personal development within the subject area.
  • Actively contribute as a key member of the curriculum team, ensuring high standards and collaborative practice.
