• Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching English.

This is a key teaching and leadership role where you’ll not only deliver engaging and inspiring English lessons but also help shape the future of our curriculum. You’ll be responsible for raising attainment, driving improvement, and supporting both students and colleagues to achieve their very best.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver a broad, balanced, and differentiated English curriculum in line with the school’s aims and policies.
• Provide strategic leadership for the English subject area, ensuring its effective development and continuous improvement.
• Raise student attainment by fostering a supportive and challenging learning environment.
• Share best practice and support the professional development of colleagues to enhance teaching quality across the school.
• Monitor and support students’ academic progress and personal development within the subject area.
• Actively contribute as a key member of the curriculum team, ensuring high standards and collaborative practice.
