Role Overview: We seek a passionate Part-Time English Teacher to deliver engaging after-school instruction for elementary students. The ideal candidate will create a dynamic classroom environment that nurtures language skills, creativity, and a love for learning.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

• Bachelor’s degree (Education, English, or related field preferred).
• Prior experience teaching School-aged children; ESL/ELL training a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor students with patience and enthusiasm.
• Flexibility for after-school hours and summer day camp programming.
• Creativity in lesson design and adaptability to diverse learning styles.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to assist with student transportation (preferred).

• Develop and implement interactive, age-appropriate phonics and reading lessons.
• Utilize research-based strategies to enhance students’ pronunciation, fluency, and comprehension.
• Provide personalized feedback and progress tracking to support individual growth.
• Foster a collaborative, inclusive classroom culture alongside fellow educators.
• Integrate educational technology and hands-on resources to elevate instruction.
• Conduct ongoing assessments to tailor teaching approaches to student needs.
