Job Overview

We are looking for a qualified and enthusiastic Primary English Teacher to join a reputed school in the UAE.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging, age-appropriate English lessons and developing students’ foundational skills in reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary and communication.

Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging English lessons for primary students.

Develop students’ reading, writing, speaking and listening skills.

Teach age-appropriate grammar, vocabulary and comprehension.

Use differentiated teaching strategies to support different learning needs.

Assess student learning and monitor academic progress.

Maintain accurate student records and assessment data.

Create a positive, inclusive and well-managed classroom environment.

Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues.

Participate in school activities and professional development programmes.

Follow school curriculum, safeguarding and UAE education requirements.

Candidate Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in English, English Literature

Equivalency is preferred

Recognized teaching qualification such as B.Ed.

Relevant experience teaching English at primary level.

Excellent written and spoken English.

Strong classroom management and lesson-planning skills.

Knowledge of modern, student-centred teaching methodologies.

Experience with British, CBSE or international curricula will be an advantage.

Candidates must meet applicable UAE school and teacher licensing requirements.
