JOB OVERVIEW

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in English language. This role involves working one-on-one or in small groups with students to enhance their understanding and academic performance. The Tutor will create a supportive learning environment that fosters student engagement and confidence.

SKILLS

  • Proficiency in one or more languages including Mandarin, Spanish, French, or Japanese is highly desirable.
  • Strong educational background with experience in tutoring or teaching children.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly.
  • Ability to write effectively for various audiences and purposes.
  • Experience working with children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Patience and adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans and track student progress.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized tutoring sessions tailored to each student’s needs and learning style.
  • Educate students on effective study techniques and strategies to improve their academic performance.
  • Help students develop their writing skills across various formats, including essays and creative writing.
  • Engage students in language learning through conversation practice, vocabulary building, and grammar instruction.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians on areas of improvement.
  • Create a positive and encouraging classroom atmosphere that motivates students to learn.
