Jasmine Tutors is a business owned by JC&M Consultancy Pty Ltd. The business is seeking a passionate and dedicated VCE English Tutor with the ability to teach English for grades 7 to VCE. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality English tutoring, supporting students in their academic growth, and helping them excel in both VCE and lower-year English studies.
You will work closely with students to improve their understanding of English literature, language, and writing skills, ensuring they are well-prepared for exams and assessments. Your ability to differentiate instruction based on student needs and tailor your approach to help them succeed is key to the success of this role.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Strong proficiency in VCE English curriculum, as well as teaching and or tutoring experience with grades 7-VCE English.
• An undergraduate or degree qualified in Arts, Education, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous tutoring experience is preferred, especially with secondary school students.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to motivate students.
• A passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential.

• Deliver engaging and structured tutoring sessions for students in VCE English, as well as grades 7-10 English.
• Help students improve their English skills in reading comprehension, essay writing, analysis, and exam preparation.
• Develop personalized lesson plans and resources to cater to different learning styles and abilities.
• Provide constructive feedback to students and guide them in their academic development.
• Help students prepare for upcoming assessments, assignments, and VCE exams.
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, encouraging confidence and motivation in students.
• Maintain regular communication with parents/guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement.
