ABOUT US

Margaret’s Learning Center is a local tutoring center based in Markham with over 25 years of experience. We offer Grade 1 to 12 tutoring for subjects including Math, English, Science and French. Classes are usually in the format of one-to-one private classes, semi-private classes, and group classes. We are passionate in what we do, and strongly believe in the importance of nurturing the younger generation with quality education.

POSITION

We are looking for a part time elementary + high-school English tutor to join our team. You should be familiar with the York Region English course curriculum. You should be energetic, caring, responsible and attentive to details. We look for individuals who are passionate like us, and believe in bringing the best out of our students.
The successful candidate should be available between Mondays to Fridays (3:30PM to 7:30PM) and Saturdays (9:30AM to 3:30PM). Working hours are flexible and negotiable accordingly, minimum of 1 day / week.

REQUIREMENTS

• 1 + years of teaching/tutoring experience
• Ontario Certified Teacher (OCT) (Required)
