Job Opening: After-School English Tutor
We are currently seeking a dedicated and passionate After-School English Tutor to join our team! This role involves tutoring students ranging from ages 3 to 15, helping them with their after-school learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct after-school English tutoring sessions for students of different ages and proficiency levels.
  • Utilize strong classroom management skills and effective teaching techniques tailored to ELA instruction for students in Grades 1–8 and high school.
  • Create individualized lesson plans and activities to support students’ learning goals (reading, writing, listening, and speaking).
  • Assess students’ progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment to boost students’ confidence in their English abilities.
  • Assist with homework assignments and provide guidance on school-related English tasks.
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child’s progress and any areas that may need additional attention.

Requirements:

  • Availability to work on weekdays from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Occasional weekend availability is required as well.
  • A passion for teaching and working with children, with the ability to adapt to the needs of students.
  • Previous teaching or tutoring experience is a plus.

  • We are looking for English Teachers qualified to teach students at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels. Successful candidates should have relevant teaching experience and educational background corresponding to these levels, and preferably hold relevant language certifications as proof of their qualifications

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in English Language, Literature, or other related fields, preferably with relevant language proficiency certifications.

Work Experience:

  • Teaching experience, or relevant experience in education, tutoring, mentoring, or homeschooling, is preferred.

Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
