REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a UK national with the legal right to work in the UK.
• Proven experience in teaching or tutoring English (classroom or one-to-one).
• Strong subject knowledge in English at Key Stage 2–4 (GCSE level).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliable, professional, and passionate about education.
• Must have own transport to travel between schools in Crewe and Nantwich.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain - Tutor Doctor Crewe will pay for this check if required).

THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic English Tutor to work with pupils in schools across the Crewe and Nantwich area. This role offers the opportunity to inspire young learners, build their confidence, and help them achieve their full potential in English.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deliver engaging, tailored English tuition sessions within school settings.
• Support pupils in improving literacy, comprehension, and writing skills.
• Adapt teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and needs.
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Communicate effectively with school staff, parents and Tutor Doctor Crewe.
