WHAT YOU’LL DO
An Experiential Fleet Operations Technician Tier 4 is responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of Google’s experiential fleet. Key responsibilities include proactive maintenance, issue resolution, system administration, validation tasks, and deployments. This role requires a strong technical background, including proficiency in Linux systems, scripting, and network protocols. Additionally, the technician must be able to manage various fleet management tools, hardware, and software. They will also need to effectively coordinate with partner services and field teams to provide global support.
Beyond technical skills, the technician must be able to effectively work on project tasks, triage issues, and document processes. They will also be responsible for developing and maintaining a knowledge base to support fleet operations. The role requires flexibility to work after hours and weekends as needed to address urgent issues and support special projects.
