Join our enrichment team and take the opportunity to work with youth through a social emotional learning lens. We are hiring staff for a variety of days at various schools in Brockton. Qualifications JOB FUNCTIONS PROGRAM/DEPARTMENT RESPONSIBILITIES: * Attend Staff meetings and trainings as scheduled by the Director of Youth Development * Lead the enrichment activities for youth in one school each day according to the quality requirements of the Old Colony Y and the prescribed curriculum that is planned each week * Collaborate with school staff to ensure enrichment activities incorporate social emotional learning and are delivered with a trauma-informed lens * Set up for and clean up after all enrichment activities * Ensure children are never left alone in the classroom and there is always a YMCA or BPS staff member in the room * Know at all times how many youth are in your group * Identify and meet the individual needs of students (inclusion, accommodations) * Ability to maintain daily attendance and scheduling flexibility. * Ability to be flexible and adaptable to the constantly changing school schedule * Maintain positive energy with staff, youth and families throughout entire program * Address any concerns or conflicts with the Director of Youth Development. * Maintain professional boundaries with youth * Carry out the enrichment schedule provided by following time frames, location of activity, and activity descriptions carefully  
Responsibilities
The instructor will lead daily enrichment activities for youth in one school, adhering to quality standards and a prescribed weekly curriculum. Responsibilities also include collaborating with school staff to integrate social emotional learning using a trauma-informed approach.
