DIVISION: ISIPINGO HOSPITAL JOB TITLE: ENROLLED NURSE AUXILIARY – PEADS PURPOSE OF POSITION To Provides age-appropriate patient care according to the nursing scope of practice as defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC). KEY PERFOMANCE AREAS Must be able to practice within the scope of practice as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. Must be compliant with Hospital Policies and Regulations. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills. Must be able to provide safe, quality patient care in the ward. COMPETENCIES (The following will be advantageous) MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (Educational Qualifications & Experience) Must be registered with SANC as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary. Preferably have two or more years of experience as an Enrolled Nurse Auxiliary within the hospital setting. Peads experience will be advantageous Must be prepared to do shift-work (Night shift / Day Shift) SKILLS (Practical & Technical) Must have excellent telephone skills. Must possess excellent inter-personal skills. Must be able to work independently under minimum supervision. Excellent observation skills. Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this position is to provide age-appropriate patient care in line with the nursing scope of practice defined by the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
