SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Demonstrated skills in wound management, medication administration, continence and/or palliative care.
  • Demonstrated skills in the collection of clinical assessment data, problem solving and decision making, with the ability to refer or seek assistance.
  • Ability to use technology relevant to the delivery of care services
  • Understanding of the financial link between service delivery and funding framework (ACFI)
  • Demonstrated stakeholder management, communication, conflict management and negotiation skills
  • Analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills necessary to manage varying and/or conflicting stakeholder demands
  • Proven ability to operate effectively and efficiently in a highly regulated and complex environment.

To be successful, you will have:

  • Current Nursing registration with AHPRA as an Enrolled Nurse (essential).
  • Endorsement for medication (essential)
  • Valid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc)
  • Complete a Police Check
  • 2025 Flu vaccinations
  • Covid vaccination evidence
Responsibilities

As a part time Enrolled Nurse - Medication Endorsed, you will be responsible for the provision of high quality of care to our residents, to facilitate and support their continued enjoyment of life within their level of capability.

  • Assist the Registered Nurse with resident assessments and care plans
  • Implementation of care plans for each resident
  • Accurately report and record information relevant to the residents’ care and condition
  • Deliver a holistic concept of care, utilising the ‘Person Centred Care’ approach
