About the role 30-bed mixed medical ward covering specialties including gastroenterology, renal/nephrology, immunology, infectious diseases, drug & alcohol, clinical pharmacology, endocrinology, rheumatology, dermatology, and inpatient medical oncology. Practice under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse in accordance with NSW Health guidelines, local policies, and protocols. Deliver patient-centred nursing care by assisting with comprehensive assessments and monitoring patients’ health and functional status. Recognise and report normal and abnormal clinical findings and contribute to appropriate nursing interventions and evaluation of outcomes. Administer prescribed medications and manage intravenous fluids within scope of practice and level of education, under supervision. About you Currently registered as an Enrolled Nurse (Division 2) with the Australian Health Professionals Regulation Agency. Demonstrated evidence of integration of theoretical knowledge and clinical skills, critical thinking and analysis in your daily practice. Demonstrated ability to work within the interdisciplinary team and has effective communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated effective time management skills and ability to prioritise competing workloads within a complex environment. Demonstrated customer service and patient centered approach to care.
