Your role SJG Murdoch Hospital are now seeking enthusiastic and motivated Enrolled and Registered Nurses to join our organisation. As an Enrolled Nurse, you will be under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Permanent part-time and full-time positions are currently available in a variety of our hospital wards and departments including Acute Nursing, Medical, Oncology and various procedural departments. Surgical areas include: Gynaecology Orthopaedic GI Colo-rectal Urology General Surgery Casual positions also available for highly experienced, adaptable Nurses. The Enrolled Nurse Position Function within legal and registration constraints in relation to enrolled nursing practice. Maintain and develops clinical skills in order to deliver patient care appropriate to level of competence. Deliver a high standard of patient care utilizing appropriate resources cost effectively. Adhere to and supports hospital policies, procedures and standards. Act as the patient’s advocate and protects the rights of individuals. Provide patient education and participates in discharge planning, where applicable or as required. Participate in quality improvement activities. Demonstrate a courteous manner to internal and external customers. The Registered Nurse Position Assesses plans, delivers and evaluates patient care, seeking support from senior staff as required. Promotes and contributes to effective communication, facilitating teamwork and cooperation within the department and within the hospital. Provides patient education and acts as a resource where appropriate. Supports and supervises staff and students as required, including orientating and precepting staff. Contributes to the achievement of Hospital and Clinical Services operational objectives. You will hold registration with Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse or Registered Nurse. You will demonstrate commitment to quality patient care and satisfaction, along with well-developed interpersonal and relationship building skills. To succeed you will have an ability to work effectively and harmoniously within the multi-disciplinary health care team, with a commitment to ongoing education and professional development. Minimum 2 years previous experience within a hospital environment and postgraduate qualification will be highly regarded. We can offer you Enrolled Nurse Salary: $72,637 to $94,932 (pro rata for part-time), plus 12% superannuation Enrolled Nurse Casual Rate: $45.80 to $59.85 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation Registered Nurse Salary: $79,755 to $102,048 (pro rata for part-time) plus 12% superannuation Registered Nurse Casual Rate: $50.29 to $64.35 per hour (inclusive of casual loading), plus 12% superannuation Permanent full-time, part-time or casual positions available Salary packaging up to $18,550 on a range of benefits such as mortgage, rent, meal entertainment, holiday accommodation or other everyday living expenses as well as options to salary package benefits above the FBT cap on items such as: Novated leasing work related expenses self-education and additional superannuation A healthy work-life balance through flexible work options, additional purchased leave & well-being programs Access to gym membership, fitness and wellbeing benefits through Fitness Passport for you and your family.
