ENT PA OR APRN OPPORTUNITY IN BEAUTIFUL PENSACOLA, FL

Looking for a full-time Advanced Practice Provider to join a thriving and very busy ENT/Otolaryngology practice, working directly with a full-time outpatient ENT/Otolaryngology physician and partner with a tenured ENT Advanced Practice Provider. New graduates welcome. Prior ENT, Allergy, Dermatology, and/or Primary Care experience recommended/preferred, but not required! Take advantage of a GREAT opportunity to learn and be trained by 1 of the region’s top ENT groups. The ENT Department at Medical Center Clinic is currently comprised of 2 full-time ENT physicians and 1 full-time APRN. The structure of the practice allows the physician and the Advanced Practice Provider to be efficient and highly productive in clinic. NO weekends and NO inpatient responsibilities.

Our unique model gives our physicians advantages over the traditional models and provides additional income from ancillary lines of business such as a surgery center, outpatient imaging, and an optical shop.

Compensation Package May Include:

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care under direct, and at times general, supervision of the physician.
  • Examine, diagnose, and treat patients with acute illnesses and injuries or exacerbations of chronic disease.
  • Order evidence-based testing, prescribe medications and refer to specialist as required.
  • Prescribe and/or adjust prescription medications, in accordance with education and supervising physician management protocols. Assist in the training of health care personnel in certain diagnostic, therapeutic, and clinical techniques, as directed by the supervising physician.
  • Document patient information in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) in a timely manner.
  • Typical clinic schedule will be 8-hours per day, Monday through Thursday, between the hours of 7:00am – 4:00pm, and a half day on Friday, 7:00am – 12:00pm.
  • Be mentored by and work directly with highly qualified ENT physicians, with the opportunity and expectation to work independently.
  • Average patient volume goals of up to 22 - 25 visits per day – Very achievable in an ENT practice.
