WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Contentstack is looking for an enthusiastic, self-driven Enterprise Account Executive preferably based in the US Pacific Time Zone (PST) to join our fast-paced, high-performing team of sales professionals looking to rise through the ranks as we continue to build upon a winning culture within the MACH Alliance and MarTech space. You will be the first point of contact with potential customers and set the tone for future client experiences. You will be critical in driving business growth by identifying, building, and nurturing new customer relationships. Your consultative sales and relationship-building expertise will be essential to achieving and exceeding sales targets.

Our ideal candidate is hard-working and highly motivated to execute the sales plan. You think outside of the traditional cadence and social selling realm. You value cold calling, personalized email outreach, and can leverage buyer personas within Enterprise accounts. Above all, you are passionate about innovating in the composable DXP space, delivering the best possible customer experience. Here’s what you’ll be doing:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for your territory to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base
  • Initiate meaningful conversations to understand customer needs and pain points and tailor solutions accordingly
  • Work closely with the Business Development Representative to find and develop new opportunities
  • Leverage Contentstack Partners to discover and run co-sell opportunities
  • Qualify and drive opportunities using MEDDPICC
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and present compelling proposals that address customers’ needs
  • Stay ahead on market trends, industry shifts, and competitor activities to inform sales strategies
  • Utilize insights to position Contentstack as a solution provider that as unique value
  • Monitor and analyze sales metrics, forecasts, and performance data to assess progress and make data-driven decisions
  • Provide regular updates to management on sales performance, strategies, and market insights

What Really Gets Us Excited About You?

  • 6-10 years of quota-carrying enterprise software or technology sales experience in a New Business role
  • Demonstrable experience in strategic selling: strategy, relationship, and organization mapping, etc.
  • Enterprise SaaS (Software as a Service) experience within a fast-paced/high-growth business is required
  • You are motivated by hunting your own accounts and closing enterprise-level deals
  • Experience leveraging Business Development Representatives
  • Consistent track record of exceeding quota (top 10% of your company) in past positions
  • Demonstrated consistent improvement in performance (against individual direct sales quotas of approx $1M+)
  • Sales Methodology training and strong customer references preferred
  • Experienced in account analysis methodologies, such as MEDDPICC, preferred
  • Experience with the content management industry is a big plus
  • MACH tech stack experience is also a big plus
  • A bachelor’s or university degree is preferred but not required
  • Some travel is exciting to you and is required

Salary for this role ranges between $120,000 - 140,000 plus variables based on skill set and experience
