Description

We’re looking for an Account Executive to join our team!
Packetlabs is a Cybersecurity firm built by an ethical hacker after seeing vulnerability assessments presented as penetration tests. Our slogan, “Ready for more than a VA scan?” drives the importance of not providing our clients with a false sense of security. We are a passionate team of highly trained, proactive, ethical hackers. We provide expert-level penetration testing services that are thorough and tailored to help foster a safe digital space where everyone has the right to privacy and security. To do so, we only hire individuals with the same drive and passion.
At Packetlabs, a high-performing sales team is the key to sustained, consistent growth. That’s why we’re seeking a qualified Account Executive (AE). The AE role is responsible for identifying, prospecting, qualifying, presenting, and closing new business opportunities. The successful individual will be responsible for an annual sales plan that supports Packetlabs’ overall revenue strategy.

Responsibilities

WHY THIS AE ROLE IS DIFFERENT:

  • A Strategic Partner, Not Just a Salesperson. Your role goes beyond transactions—you’ll build long-term relationships and become a trusted security advisor.
  • An Advisory-First Approach. Success in this role means understanding client pain points and helping organizations evolve their security posture over time—not just closing a deal.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Own and manage the full enterprise sales cycle, from prospecting to deal closure and account expansion.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to identify, engage, and grow enterprise clients.
  • Engage and build relationships with stakeholders, including CISOs, CIOs, Security Directors, Risk and compliance Leaders, and Procurement teams.
  • Act as a trusted cybersecurity advisor, guiding clients toward long-term security improvements beyond a single engagement.
  • Identify expansion opportunities within 3-6 months of initial deals, ensuring clients get continued value and evolving solutions.
  • Stay current with cybersecurity trends, industry shifts, and security threats to advise clients proactively.
  • Working closely and collaboratively with Marketing, Operations, Client Success, and other teams to maximize client engagement and drive service excellence in delivery.
  • Manage your pipeline with precision. Keep accurate CRM records, track deal progress, and forecast revenue.
  • Support the VP of sales in developing the BD function
  • Lead by example. Demonstrate professionalism, creativity, and a commitment to delivering value for clients and the Packetlabs team.
