QUALIFICATIONS:

  • University degree, ideally in medical technology.
  • 3-5 years of experience in hospital selling, with a focus on executive-level relationship building.
  • In-depth knowledge of the healthcare and diagnostics industry, including market dynamics, key competitors, and regulatory challenges.
  • Proven track record in managing strategic/enterprise accounts and winning contracts at large, complex accounts.
  • Strong solution selling and relationship-building skills.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strategic focus on long-term account management.
  • Proficiency in the local language and English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently, averaging three days per week.
Responsibilities

THE ROLE: ENTERPRISE ACCOUNT MANAGER

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Enterprise Account Manager to join our Core Diagnostics team, covering Norway. This role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys varied activities, and excels at managing multiple, simultaneous projects. You will drive customer loyalty through strategic planning and value co-creation, supporting both our customers and Abbott.
Location: Norway (Frequent travel required, averaging three days per week)

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Analyze and apply marketplace trends to assigned enterprise accounts with a sense of urgency for goal achievement.
  • Consult with customers to provide insights for clinical effectiveness and operational excellence, focusing on results.
  • Develop a deep understanding of account needs, stakeholders, and competitive landscapes.
  • Align Abbott solutions with customer priorities to deliver superior healthcare outcomes.
  • Generate innovative ideas and solve problems creatively to meet customer needs.
  • Create and implement strategic account engagement plans for new and renewal opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate customer data in Salesforce.
  • Build rapport and relationships focused on achieving results and engaging the commitment of others.
  • Partner with key decision-makers to develop solutions that enhance competitiveness and performance.
  • Drive market share growth through new business opportunities and contract renewals.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to execute account strategies, ensuring accountability for results.
  • Make quick decisions in response to changing conditions, taking calculated risks when necessary.
  • Negotiate profitable contracts by evaluating all possible deal scenarios.
  • Build long-term, collaborative partnerships with current and potential customers.
  • Exhibit extroverted, confident, enthusiastic, and persuasive qualities to influence and stimulate others to action.
  • Provide authoritative leadership based on generalist expertise and knowledge of systems.
