POSITION OVERVIEW:

ConData’s Enterprise Account Manager (EAM) will serve as the strategic sales owner for a portfolio of Fortune 500 customers in the Manufacturing & Retail sectors. This new role is a strategic investment designed to deepen executive relationships and accelerate growth within our largest accounts. The EAM will own the full sales process for upsell and cross-sell opportunities, driving meaningful revenue expansion while partnering with Client Success Managers who oversee day-to-day service delivery. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in Enterprise Install Base Sales, excels at navigating complex organizations, and thrives on uncovering new opportunities to deliver measurable value.
This position requires regular travel, approximately 3-5 times per quarter, to meet with customers and attend industry events.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 8+ years of sales experience, with at least 3-4 years in Enterprise Install Base Sales.
  • Disciplined in Territory, Account, and Joint Execution Planning, with a strong focus on process and thoroughness.
  • Experience in the Freight Post Audit industry or adjacent sectors.
  • Experience selling into Manufacturing and Retail sectors preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of consistently meeting or exceeding quarterly and annual quotas in high-performance environments.
  • Proficiency in executing consultative and value-based B2B upsell and cross-sell methodologies.
  • Experience selling six-to-seven-figure committed annual contracts to Fortune 500 companies.
  • Experience reviewing customer renewal agreements and amendments, with the ability to evaluate redline requests and draft preliminary language to expedite legal review.
  • Experience utilizing an ROI calculator or similar tool to demonstrate the savings a customer will recognize by expanding usage of ConData’s Freight Post Audit services.
  • Thrives in cross-functional teamwork with a focus on “Winning as a Team.”
  • Committed to continuous learning and enhancing expertise in the Freight Post Audit industry.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics or a similarly robust enterprise CRM tool.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

    Job Type: Full-time Hybrid Office / Remote (Oak Brook, IL)
    Base Salary: Compensation includes a $120,000–$140,000 base salary and a performance-based commission plan with $80,000 in on-target incentives and no annual cap on total commission earnings. Benefits are provided as part of the package.
Responsibilities
  • Account & Execution Planning: Develop and maintain a detailed Account Plan for every assigned customer and utilize Joint Execution Plans during active sales cycles to align internal and customer stakeholders on strategy, milestones, and next steps.
  • Relationship Building: Build and nurture relationships with key customer stakeholders, including C-suite executives, across multiple (often siloed) departments to facilitate trust and collaboration.
  • Demonstrating Value: Tailor and articulate ConData’s value proposition for its suite of Freight Post Audit solutions to diverse and geographically dispersed stakeholder groups with competing challenges, interests, and priorities.
  • Pipeline Management: Build and manage a robust expansion Pipeline, closing multiple six- and seven-figure growth opportunities annually and driving consistent year-over-year revenue increases across assigned accounts.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with Client Success Managers, who lead service delivery and day-to-day account health, while focusing your time on strategic growth, executive relationships, and commercial expansion.
  • Market Expertise: Represent ConData at industry events and tradeshows, positioning yourself to customers as a thought leader and consultative subject matter expert.
  • Implementation Planning: Collaborate with new and diverse customer stakeholders on an Implementation Plan and Schedule prior to renewal to ensure alignment and successful expansion of services.
