JOB DESCRIPTION

The Enterprise Special Services team is rapidly expanding and seeks a highly skilled and motivated Account Specialist to enhance the shipper experience for vendors and sellers utilizing Amazon Inbound Transportation. This role involves directly working with shippers to develop solutions and take proactive measures to improve shipper performance metrics. The position is integral to driving innovation within transportation and logistics by evaluating network shipper defects and implementing improvements through coaching and performance management.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

• Proficiency in account management and customer service.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Problem-solving abilities in logistics, transportation, intermodal, and supply chain.

ADDITIONAL SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Good relationship-building skills.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage disruptions and provide solutions.
• Background in supply chain or logistics is preferred.
• Experience in industries such as party planning, event coordination, real estate, sales, or restaurants.
• 2 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, or similar field preferred.
• Understanding of basic data analytical skills.
• Experience in writing documents related to process improvement proposals.
• Entry-level knowledge of MS Excel and ability to interpret data.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Monitor, verify, and present data daily.
• Address transportation disruptions and other barriers in real-time.
• Identify root causes of transportation defects.
• Maintain daily logs for assigned shippers.
• Lead weekly calls with assigned shippers.
• Conduct Daily Business Review Stand-up calls.
