REQUIREMENTS

Normally requires an associate degree in business, information technology, accounting, or the equivalent thereof, and experience in IT or Accounting related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of information systems technologies and applications preferred.
Understanding and experience with accounting-related areas including payables, receivables, billing systems, overhead, general ledger, and fixed asset systems and software, financial statements, internal controls, accounting standards, audit strategy, policies and procedures, and compliance.
Proven computer skills including spreadsheet, database, and query tools; the ability to use the computer to enhance business processes; and the ability to learn accounting-related software.
Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.
Must be able to routinely carry an electronic communication device after business hours to respond to support calls.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a technical certification from a vendor or certifying authority that is pertinent to the GROWMARK System.
Ability to work other than normal business days and hours as support needs arise.
Ability to travel independently and overnight and be assigned temporarily to client locations, technical conferences, training, etc.
Must have and maintain a valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record.
Must obtain and maintain a Passport for support of international operations.
Ability and willingness to participate in required training that may include education on GROWMARK’s policies and procedures and additional training as it relates to the requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

Responsible for maintaining, analyzing, and correcting accounting files for the Member & Retail companies. Assists with ensuring day to day accounting procedures can be performed, resolving technical queries, and communicating solutions directly to customers.
