WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

We are looking for a strategic thinker who has strong experience in enterprise architecture, ideally in aviation, transport or other regulated industries. You’ll bring strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of aligning technology to business strategy. You’ll also have a passion for innovation, governance and continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate will have:
-
- 10+ years’ experience in IT, with a focus on enterprise architecture and strategic planning
- Experience leading architecture in complex transformation programs
- A strong understanding of cloud (Azure/M365), SaaS, legacy aviation systems, and integration platforms
- Knowledge of architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, SABSA, or Zachman
- Familiarity with aviation regulatory frameworks (e.g. CASA, IATA, ICAO)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Proven ability to influence senior leaders and build consensus
- Adaptability and resilience when navigating emerging technologies and organisational change

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or a related discipline
  • Enterprise Architecture certification (e.g. TOGAF, SABSA)
  • Master’s degree or MBA is highly regarded

Responsibilities

Based onsite at our Brisbane Head Office, the Enterprise Architect is a newly created position reporting directly to the Chief Information Officer. This role plays a key part in our ongoing digital transformation, helping to modernise systems, integrate new technologies, and align our technology roadmap with long-term business strategy.
You’ll lead the enterprise architecture function across the business, ensuring consistency, agility and compliance across complex aviation and corporate domains. This is a senior role requiring both strategic vision and technical oversight.

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define and maintain enterprise-wide architectural principles, standards and policies
  • Lead the Enterprise Architecture Review Board (EARB) and governance processes
  • Translate business strategy into actionable enterprise architecture roadmaps
  • Ensure alignment between technology investments and business outcomes
  • Oversee integration across legacy systems, cloud platforms and SaaS environments
  • Evaluate solution designs for enterprise architecture compliance
