We’re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to join our IT team at Country Road Group.
We’re on the lookout for a strategic and forward-thinking Enterprise Architect to help drive this transformation. This role is pivotal in shaping the architecture direction for our customer, digital, and retail platforms.

As the Enterprise Architect – Customer, Digital & Retail, you’ll:

  • Set the strategic direction for architecture across customer, digital, and store ecosystems.
  • Champion enterprise-wide architectural decisions that are scalable, secure, and future-ready and supporting business growth (new channels, new brands etc.)
  • Architect and design the transformation of legacy systems into modular, API-first, cloud-native platforms.
  • Embed an AI-first approach to elevate customer engagement, personalization, and operational intelligence.
  • Collaborate with business and technology leaders to ensure alignment of IT initiatives with long-term business capabilities and objectives.

KEY CAPABILITIES

  • Proven experience in Solution / Enterprise Architecture, with a strong background in delivering technology solutions for customer, retail, or digital platforms within a large-scale retail environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science/engineering, Information Technology or a related field, advanced certifications (e.g., TOGAF) and knowledge of MACH principles desired.
  • Strong background in cloud platforms (preferably AWS), APIs, microservices, and event-driven integration.
  • Experience working with third-party vendors, delivery partners, and platform technologies.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing Unified Commerce and Distributed Order Management solutions, Loyalty, eCommerce and Mobile applications for large-scale retail organizations is highly desirable.
  • Experience in a range of application technologies e.g. SQL, Oracle, python, Java, Unix shell etc
