Job Description As Group Architecture Leader you are responsible for building a holistic process, data and technology architecture, aligning with the business strategy, and continuously evolving it. The role assesses the potential of new opportunities, defines architecture principles which are valid throughout the entire organisation and ensure that processes, capabilities, product and platforms adhere to them. Key responsibilities: Lead and hold together the architecture community across the group, enable IKEA business movement through architecture, and work closely with all parts of the value chain to achieve them. Define holistic architecture vision and principles which are valid throughout the entire organisation (across core business units and operations and in alignment with franchisee development) that continuously is developed in line with business strategy The architecture principles serve as framework for process, data and technology related development and steer towards the architecture vision, enabling efficient and effective operations and development The architecture guidelines define the methodologies and approaches that are applied to enterprise architecture management, (e.g. the use of the Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), as well as the products and methodologies used for maintaining the corresponding architecture artefacts. Align and steer architecture activities across the different architecture domains Business process architecture Data architecture Application architecture Technology architecture Security architecture Perform overall architecture planning and own data & technology architecture transition roadmap To be successful in this role, the following knowledge, skills and experiences would be valuable: Deep experience regarding the conceptual design of data and technology architectures, roadmaps and the execution of Enterprise Architecture transformations Strong knowledge about technology and enterprise architecture modelling approaches and tools, e.g. UML, BPMN, 10+ years of overall work experience, of which 6+ years in the enterprise architecture domain or in a similar role within retailing, manufacturing or supply chain Deep experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, such as TOGAF or similar Wide technical hands-on experience, ideally across the full technology stack of business applications Knowledge about agile project methodologies (e.g. Scrum) and modern IT operations approaches, specifically DevOps and CI/CD Masters degree in business information management (or similar) Thought leader for state of the art technologies and emerging technologies, as well as enterprise architecture management (EAM) and enterprise architecture approaches Business and people oriented leader, with the ability and experience from leading teams of technology experts and enterprise architects Additional Information This role is full-time (40 hours per week) and based in Malmö, Sweden or Delft, The Netherlands.
