POSITION DESCRIPTION:

As an Enterprise Architect (EA) at CGI Montreal, you will play a key role in aligning IT strategy with business objectives, ensuring that systems are robust, secure, and future-ready. You will shape our vision and guide the evolution of our technology landscape in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Align business and IT strategies by prioritizing technology projects.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across business units and IT.
  • Anticipate and adapt to evolving business and operating models.
  • Use storytelling and visualization to drive long-term strategic planning.
  • Promote the value of enterprise architecture and contribute to its adoption.
  • Coach architects, product managers, and business stakeholders in architectural thinking.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, gap analyses, and provide technology recommendations.
  • Develop roadmaps and manage the IT portfolio to ensure cross-project consistency.

Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 10+ years as an enterprise architect, preferably in pharmaceutical or healthcare industries.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Mastery of TOGAF, COBIT, Zachman or equivalent frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Cloud (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS), microservices, APIs, SOA.
  • Understanding of regulatory environments (e.g., GxP, FDA).
  • Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking skills.
  • Leadership and cross-functional collaboration capabilities.
  • Bilingualism: French required, English is an asset.

Additional Information:
