Introduction
Make a difference for national security by joining a team of dedicated IT professionals who will sustain, modernize and transform the enterprise IT capabilities for the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA). The Air Force and Combatant Commands Business Group of SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Architect to support a transformational infrastructure program for DCSA.
SAIC is proud to be supporting DCSA in safeguarding our nation’s information. DCSA is the designated oversight authority on the accreditation of classified facilities, information systems, and the insider threat program. This involves security oversight of more than 10,000 companies and approximately 13,000 facilities involved in classified work throughout the DoD and 31 Federal agencies.
Specifically, on the DCSA One IT program, SAIC will provide an enterprise IT solution that delivers highly secured and adaptable IT infrastructure, provides customer support, and cutting-edge technologies that support operations and advance the DCSA mission under a single IT environment (i.e., One IT).

JOB DESCRIPTION

At the direction of the Program’s Enterprise Architect, the Enterprise Architect supports the analysis, integration strategy and integration approach for diverse and complex components of this DoD customer’s contract.

  • Provides support in business planning and strategy by focusing on business capabilities and maturity. Helps to match customer needs, services and core mission with best-in-class technology to define a target state.
  • Helps to develop and define the prioritization and sequencing of the transformation by proposing an enterprise architecture plan and technology roadmap that leads to the target state.
  • Works with Government counterparts to identify roadblocks and opportunities and ensures architectural plans can be implemented both securely and reliably, to improve the tools and environments that service the customer’s workforce.
  • Researches and develops EA component and architecture documents and plans.
  • Provides recommendations and technical input on the customer’s documents.
  • Analyzes architectures, Business, Enterprise Information Environment processes and existing enterprise IT to identify and recommend architectural, IT, or process solutions.
  • Identifies future technology and potential architectural and capability impacts for the customer and provides recommendations regarding the customer’s organization and functions.
  • Provides inputs into the Activity Report.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

It is required that the Enterprise Architect have the following qualifications.

  • BA/BS with nine (9) or more years of experience.
  • Top Secret clearance (SCI eligible).
  • EA Certification in either The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) (Level 2), Zachman (Level 2 or above), or Federal Enterprise Architecture Certification (FEAC) Associate Certified Enterprise Architect (ACEA)/ Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA).
  • Working experience with EA applications.
  • IAT Level II.
