BT-179 – Enterprise Architect/Systems Engineer Skill Level: Subject Matter Expert Location: Bethesda (fully on-site, no remote option) **MUST HAVE A POLY CLEARANCE TO APPLY. Those who do not have a Poly clearance will not be considered.** Job Summary: Bespoke Technologies is seeking an experienced, results oriented Information Technology (IT) Enterprise Architect or Systems Engineer to join our team in the Bethesda, Maryland area. You will play a critical role in documenting and shaping our client's IT enterprise architecture, ensuring alignment with the client’s vision of driving interoperability across organizations. Responsibilities Include: Develop an IT enterprise architecture that provides client stakeholders awareness of critical capabilities, dependencies, and critical impacts and risks. This includes developing the: Enterprise Architecture Baseline – discover and capture the “as-is” state of the client’s IT enterprise as it exists across multiple organizations throughout the enterprise. Enterprise Architecture Future State – work in alignment with the client’s vision to capture the “to be” state of the client’s IT enterprise. Enterprise Architecture Transition Plan – create the guidance and architecture artifacts to incrementally transition the client’s enterprise architecture from the as-is state to the future state. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including content providers, content consumers, developers, engineers, and business analysts. Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Basic Qualifications: BS degree and 12 – 15 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 10 – 13 years of prior relevant experience. May possess a Doctorate in technical domain. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Systems Engineer, or similar role. Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., UAF, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF). Familiarity with Systems Modeling Language (SysML) or Unified Modeling Language (UML) and Model-Based Systems Engineering. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering tools (e.g., MagicDraw, Rational Rhapsody, Cameo, Genesys, etc.).

Responsibilities

The role involves developing an IT enterprise architecture to provide stakeholders with awareness of critical capabilities and risks. This includes documenting the current state, future state, and transition plan of the client's IT enterprise.
