About the Role Our client is seeking an Enterprise Architect with expertise in application modernization, SQL Server optimization, and cloud-based environments. The consultant will provide technical leadership on application upgrades, CI/CD pipelines, and business system enhancements, while mentoring junior developers. This role requires deep experience in VB.NET/ASP.NET development, SQL Server (T-SQL, SSRS), and Azure cloud environments. Key Responsibilities Design and implement technology and architecture upgrades for enterprise applications. Maintain and enhance business applications; support ongoing modernization. Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines. Write, translate, and code applications in VB.NET, ASP.NET, and SQL Server. Develop user manuals and technical documentation. Collaborate with network admins, analysts, and engineers to resolve issues. Mentor and guide junior developers. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science/IS/IT (or equivalent work experience). 10+ years working with MS Visual Studio (VB.NET, ASP.NET). 7+ years with SQL Server, T-SQL, SSRS (tuning, queries, database objects). Experience in cloud server environments (Azure preferred). CI/CD pipeline development and management. Strong knowledge of MVC design patterns, RDBMS, database security, and ISDM methodology. Excellent communication, prioritization, and collaboration skills. Preferred Skills Microsoft certifications (MCSD, MCTS). Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and C#. Familiarity with XML, CSS, and web development standards. Agile (Scrum, XP, Kanban) and UML. Knowledge of environmental regulatory processes and DEP’s technical environment.
