We have an exciting opportunity for a Enterprise Data Architect to join Norgine.
The person holding this position will report to the Senior Director - Technology and be a member of the Data & Technology team.
The core responsibility of the of the Enterprise Data Architect is to expand the company’s use of data as a strategic enabler of corporate goals and objectives. The Enterprise Data Architect will achieve this by strategically designing, developing, and
implementing data models for enterprise-level applications and systems. These models shall be architected at the following layers: conceptual, logical, business area, and application. This individual will act as the primary advocate of data modelling methodologies and data processing best practices. The role will operate within a hybrid environment encompassing on-premise, Azure, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), and various SaaS platforms.
This will be a permanent role.

BUSINESS REQUIREMENTS IDENTIFICATION

Elicit complex business requirements using a variety of methods, such as
interviews, document analysis, workshops, and workflow analysis, to express the
requirements in terms of target user roles and goals. Translate the business
requirements and user cases into conceptual, logical and physical data models.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Substantial data architect experience preferably within manufacturing or pharmaceutical settings.
  • Experience designing schemas and data flows for both structured and semistructured data.
  • Experience with business requirements analysis, entity relationship planning, database design, reporting structures.
  • Experience with cloud-native services in Azure (e.g., Synapse Analytics, Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric).
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview for data governance, cataloguing, and lineage tracking.
  • Experience supporting Agile project delivery and DevOps principles.
  • Experience with master data management (MDM) and metadata management platforms.
