RiVidium Inc. is seeking an experienced Enterprise Firewall Engineer with a strong background in network security, specifically with Palo Alto Network technologies. The ideal candidate will have expert level knowledge of IT firewall administration experience and demonstrate deep technical expertise in configuring, managing, and securing enterprise network environments.

Responsibilities for this position shall include, but are not limited to:

• Implement, configure, and manage enterprise firewall solutions, focusing on Palo Alto perimeter defense appliances.
• Use Panorama to develop and manage policies, security rules, NATs, and security profiles.
• Configure, implement, manage, and troubleshoot VPN and security policies, including solutions such as Palo Alto Prisma and Global Protect.
• Monitor network activity, identify vulnerabilities, and communicate threat vectors to stakeholders.
• Utilize tools such as Gigamon, Palo Alto Firewalls, and Cisco Secure Network Analytics to enhance network visibility and threat detection.
• Train users and junior staff on the effective use of security tools and platforms.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation for system configurations, procedures, and service records.
• Collaborate across teams to support infrastructure projects and provide technical leadership.
• Mentor junior team members, promoting security best practices and technical excellence.

Requirements for this position shall include:

• TS/SCI Clearance (active)
• 10+ years of experience in IT Firewall Administration, including hands-on experience with firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs.
• Current (or one version back) Palo Alto Networks certification such as:
• PCNSA (Certified Network Security Administrator)
• PCCSE (Prisma Certified Cloud Security Engineer)
• PCNSE (Certified Network Security Engineer) ? preferred
• Strong knowledge of enterprise security tools and architecture.
• Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
