REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in technical field or Business
  • Minimum 5 years of proven business system development and deployment experience in R&D, Marketing and Sales environments, with a minimum of 2 years in a leadership role and demonstrated track record of implementation success
  • Experience delivering exceptional results by setting high expectations and demonstrating courage to make decisions
  • Demonstrated experience in creating and maintaining an inclusive work environment with clear understanding of equitable practices
  • Expert at implementing and training on all foundational Growth tools, including but not limited to VOC, Customer Segmentation, Technology Roadmap, Idea Incubator, Product Portfolio Management, Design Thinking, Lean Phase-Gate System, Innovation Project Management, VAVE, 3P, DFMA, Rapid Growth Assessment, Strategic Pricing, Sales Funnel Management, Value Selling, and 80/20
  • Strong business and financial acumen
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to transparently communicate, relate to people at all levels of the organization, influence and develop followership cross-functionally
  • Ability to travel 25%

Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an Enterprise Growth Practice Leader to join our team. In this role, you will have responsibility to develop and deploy the Gore Business System tools in close collaboration with the all GBS Leaders across the Enterprise. The candidate will have significant experience developing and driving Lean culture change and deploying the tools, system, and methodologies. They will have responsibility for establishing and building a close relationship with all GBS Leaders and GBS Associates.

This role will make an immediate impact by:

  • Developing and / or improving the GBS Growth tools including VOC, Customer Segmentation, Technology Roadmap, Idea Incubator, Product Portfolio Management, Design Thinking, Lean Phase-Gate System, Innovation Project Management, VAVE, 3P, DFMA, Rapid Growth Assessment, Strategic Pricing, Sales Funnel Management, Value Selling, and 80/20
  • Driving a culture of Continuous Improvement
  • Demonstrating key behaviors - setting high expectations, one who is data-driven and fact-based
  • Driving the attainment of the business priorities (Portfolio Health Index, Go-to-Market Strategies, Revenue, Operating Margin Expansion, and Customer NPS) to deliver customer value

This position will be located at our facility in Newark, Delaware, with the possibility of a hybrid remote work arrangement, depending upon the responsibilities of the role and business needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Define and develop the Growth tools in collaboration with the other GBSLs to include roadmap development, training, coaching, Associate development, impact tracking and leveraging industry standards
  • Partner with Learning and Development to develop and / or update content aligning with the Enterprise learning architecture
  • Partner with the GBS Associates to develop and / or improve GBS Growth tools
  • Identify areas of greatest improvement opportunity and gaps in performance and determines the appropriate tool(s) to address them
  • Coach and mentor all levels of the organization to help to establish an organizational culture of Continuous Improvement
  • Model what it means to be a change agent within the organization
  • Establish clear expectations of equitable and inclusive behaviors from Associates and acts immediately to appropriately address negatively impactful or unfair behavior
