Senior Data Warehouse & Analytics Engineer
Hybrid preferred near major offices (Columbus, OH; Cincinnati, OH; Dallas, TX; Richmond, VA; Kansas City, KS). Remote considered for the right candidate. No travel expected.
About the Role
We are seeking a Data Warehouse Specialist who will take ownership of our enterprise data platforms while also delivering meaningful reporting and analytics. This role combines data engineering and data management responsibilities with the ability to directly build Power BI dashboards and reports that drive financial and operational decision-making.
The ideal candidate is comfortable rolling up their sleeves to manage warehouse infrastructure while also working directly with stakeholders to produce executive-ready insights.

Responsibilities

  • Manage, optimize, and support enterprise data warehouses, including Oracle Data Warehouse and future Azure / Microsoft Fabric implementations.
  • Design and maintain data models, ETL processes, and data integration pipelines.
  • Ensure data governance, accuracy, and performance across the reporting environment.
  • Partner with finance and operations teams to gather requirements and deliver dashboards, reports, and KPIs in Power BI.
  • Act as the bridge between technical data infrastructure and business-facing reporting.
  • Provide documentation, standards, and training to internal stakeholders on data usage.
  • Collaborate with external consulting partners and take ownership of deliverables.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in data warehousing, database management, or data engineering.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Data Warehouse and strong familiarity with Azure Synapse / Microsoft Fabric.
  • Advanced SQL skills; experience with ETL tools and performance tuning.
  • Proven ability to create and maintain Power BI dashboards and reports.
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational reporting needs.
  • Ability to balance technical warehouse responsibilities with direct end-user reporting tasks.
  • Industry experience in mechanical, construction, or related fields is a plus.
