The Opportunity
We are seeking a strategic and analytical Enterprise Portfolio Manager to lead the evaluation and alignment of corporate projects across the organization. This newly created role will be responsible for developing and managing a standardized prioritization framework, ensuring that projects are aligned with Medavie’s strategic goals and that resources are allocated for maximum impact.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Corporate Project Prioritization
  • Develop and manage a standardized project prioritization framework and scoring model
  • Facilitate portfolio review meetings with senior leadership
  • Analyze project proposals for feasibility, ROI, risk, and resource requirements
  • Maintain a centralized project portfolio dashboard and reporting
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization including Strategy, Risk, Finance, IT, Operations, and other departments
  • Identify and resolve conflicts in project priorities and resource allocations while working in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Continuously improve prioritization processes based on feedback and evolving needs
  • Support Strategic Decision-Making
  • Prepare briefing materials and recommendations for executive leadership
  • Conduct scenario planning and impact analysis
  • Support resource allocation planning and governance policy development
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls and strategic alignment
  • Act as an advisor on prioritization best practices
  • Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Serve as a neutral liaison between business units
  • Navigate divergent priorities and facilitate consensus
  • Engage with senior leaders (SVPs, VPs, Directors) and project teams regularly

What You’ll Bring:

  • Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in project management, strategic planning, or portfolio management
  • PMP, PfMP, or Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
  • Knowledge & Skills
  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and negotiation abilities
  • Proficiency in project and portfolio management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet)
  • Financial acumen and understanding of ROI analysis
  • Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies
  • Experience in change management and stakeholder engagement
  • Knowledge of the finance, insurance, technology, and/or health sectors
  • Bilingualism in English and French is a significant asset
