Responsibilities:

We are looking for a very hands-on engineer architect hybrid, who enjoys working with end users as much as they love tinkering with technology. This is an opportunity to dive into the massive world of APIs and all the related tooling; From authentication, API analytics, telemetry, the “Cloud”, and beyond. You will be the go-to person that SREs, Engineers, DevOps, and Architects at some of the largest companies in the world rely on for their technical evaluation of complex API and auxiliary software.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with the sales team to meet and exceed team sales quotas and OKRs
  • Gather, understand, and develop customer requirements for API Gateway & Management platform.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to prospects, guiding them on overall API strategies and tactics to leverage Tyk’s unique perspective on API Management.
  • Stay up to date and current with Tyk technology platform, future releases, roadmap initiatives, and market trends
  • Assist Sales team to manage new and existing client and partner relationship engagements to help drive pipeline, revenue, and customer satisfaction
  • Set and manage customer/prospect expectations for their technical experience with the Tyk product portfolio
  • Owning the technical relationship with the prospects
  • Being a point of escalation on Tyk, its ecosystem and its deployment
  • Being a point of escalation on our Customers environments and use cases
  • Being a point of escalation for pre sales touch points
  • Development of customer benefitting output (use cases, artifacts, reference environment, plugins etc)
  • Creation and curation of customer based reference environments and architecture
  • Creation and curation of tools and projects to aid customer time to market
  • Creation and curation of tools and projects to aid prospect PoC evaluation
