Description

DO YOU LOVE WORKING WITH ENTREPRENEURS AND CREATING PROGRAMMES THAT HELP THEM SUCCEED?

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Enterprise Programmes Manager to join our team at UWE Bristol.
This is a fantastic opportunity to play a central role in supporting the region’s next generation of entrepreneurs. You will lead the delivery of our flagship Launch Space programme, a business incubator for early-stage founders. This means managing everything from founder recruitment and mentor engagement through to events, workshops, and hands-on support. You’ll make sure that every entrepreneur who joins Launch Space has access to the networks, expertise and resources they need to grow their business.
Alongside Launch Space, you’ll work with colleagues across the University to design and deliver new enterprise initiatives. These could include accelerator-style programmes, new workshops, and partnership projects with organisations in the regional innovation ecosystem.
This is a highly visible, hands-on role where you will engage with founders daily and build strong relationships with colleagues and external partners to make sure our enterprise programmes deliver real impact.

ABOUT YOU

We’re looking for someone who is proactive, organised and passionate about supporting entrepreneurs. You will enjoy managing multiple projects, working closely with founders, and creating inclusive opportunities for people from all backgrounds.
You’ll have strong organisational skills and be comfortable managing programme operations while keeping an eye on strategic outcomes. You will also be confident engaging with founders, mentors, investors and university stakeholders.

Key qualities we’re looking for:

  • Experience delivering enterprise, business support or innovation programmes
  • Excellent relationship-building and facilitation skills
  • Strong experience in partnership-building, mentoring and programme development
  • Creativity and the ability to design programmes that respond to the needs of founders
  • A collaborative approach and the confidence to take initiative in a busy environment

You will also champion inclusion across all our initiatives, ensuring equitable access to entrepreneurial support.
