The AML Technology Team, part of the Enterprise Protect (ES3) organization, delivers and supports technology solutions for the AML business. In a rapidly evolving regulatory environment, this team plays a pivotal role in managing risk and compliance. As regulations continue to increase in scope and complexity, the demand for scalable, modern solutions has fueled accelerated growth within this unit.
As a Solution Design IT Specialist, you will lead the creation of end-to-end solution designs, ensuring the delivery of detailed System Design Specifications (SDS). You will be at the heart of large-scale, enterprise technology initiatives, collaborating across business and technology domains. This role requires deep technical leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on development capability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Architecture -Lead the design of scalable and secure system architecture for complex AML systems and applications
  • SDS Development Own and deliver high-quality System Design Specifications
  • Stakeholder Collaboration Partner with Project Managers, BAs, SAs, QA teams, and SMEs to gather requirements and build fit-for-purpose solutions
  • Technical Leadership Guide technical teams during development, integration, and testing phases
  • Code & Review Participate in or oversee code development, conduct code reviews, and ensure alignment with design patterns
  • Knowledge Transfer Facilitate knowledge sharing across technology and business teams; contribute to reusable asset libraries
  • Continuous Improvement Optimize delivery through process improvement, reusable components, and adherence to standards
  • Risk Mitigation Ensure designs align with security, compliance, and architectural standards

    Additional Notes:

  • This role may involve complex development, documentation, and acting as SME throughout the SDLC.

  • You’ll work closely with Architecture and Information Security teams to ensure alignment with enterprise strategy.
  • Will support project estimation and proactively manage dependencies and delivery risks.

Requirements:

  • Technical Expertise Proven experience in design and development using AML Name Screening technologies (NetReveal/SymphonyAI, Quantifind preferred)
  • Experience 7+ years in technical delivery with demonstrated leadership on enterprise-level projects
  • Education Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Graduate degree preferred)
  • Communication Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to stakeholders
  • Industry Insight Knowledge of regulatory compliance, AML processes, and risk management frameworks
  • Collaboration Experience working with large, cross-functional, globally distributed teams
  • Tools & Methodologies Familiarity with Agile/Scrum, DevOps practices, CI/CD, REST APIs, cloud technologies
