Description:
Overview:
Experienced Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Manager to oversee and manage the transformation from current on-premises applications to hosted solutions. ERP Manger is responsible for ensuring that our systems are efficient, effective, and aligned with our business needs. This will include leading a team of software analysts and developers who design, develop, test, and manage regularly scheduled and required patches provided by the vendor. The team will work with the EA Integration Services team to manage, schedule, and modify integrations between Saas solutions and other systems within Lifeway. The ERP Manager will ensure engineers build resilient, testable, highly available, scalable, and innovative solutions using modern cloud architectures.
MINIMUM EDUCATION
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related degree, or equivalent experience
- Master of Business Administration or Technology, a plus
MINIMUM REQUIRED EXPERIENCE (TYPE AND YEARS)
- 2-3 years of experience in Oracle Cloud ERP systems management and implementation.
- 8+ years of experience in ERP systems.
- 5+ years of experience in team management.
- 2+ years hands-on software analyst or development experience.
KSAS (KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES)
- Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM: Advanced experience implementing and managing Oracle Cloud ERP and EPM solutions.
- Integration Expertise: Proficient understanding of integrations with SaaS solutions, Cloud hosted solutions, and on-premises applications.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Proficient in collaborating with stakeholders, contributing to product definition, and defining technical strategy.
- Communication Skills: Advanced ability to communicate complex technical information (both verbal and written) to all levels, including senior leadership.
- Project Prioritization: Proficient ability to prioritize and execute tasks across multiple projects and business areas.
- Vendor Management: Proficient experience in collaborating and negotiating with third-party vendors to achieve project objectives.
- Budget Management: Proficient experience in developing and maintaining department budgets.
- Recruitment and Team Building: Proficient experience recruiting and hiring team members, such as architects, developers, and analysts.
- Team Mentorship: Proven track record (Advanced) of mentoring, coaching, training, and disciplining software engineering team members

Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and management of cloud-based ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Cloud ERP): Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain optimal functionality. Ensure ERP systems are aligned with organizational requirements and goals. Develop and maintain ERP roadmap
- Develop and implement processes for managing and maintaining ERP systems: Establish best practices, workflows, and documentation to ensure consistency and efficiency in system operations.
- Manage workload across business partners: Assess risks, prioritize tasks, and delegate assignments to deliver timely, cost-effective results while fostering strong communication with stakeholders and peers.
- Build and lead effective teams: Ensure team composition matches the required skillsets and set clear expectations. Mentor, coach, and train team members, fostering an environment of knowledge sharing and maintaining documentation of system processes and best practices.
- Challenge and guide engineers: Promote the development of testable, resilient, highly available, scalable, and innovative systems with proper monitoring and alert mechanisms in place.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs): Monitor metrics such as uptime, processing speed, and project completion rates to evaluate ERP performance and inform progress toward delivery goals.
- Ensure compliance and security: Implement robust security measures and ensure adherence to data protection regulations and industry standards. Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and partners: Coordinate tools and services supporting data integration and interface implementation efforts, ensuring they meet organizational needs and compliance requirements.
- Develop and manage ERP budgets: Oversee financial planning for ERP systems, including licensing, maintenance, and vendor costs, to optimize spending while achieving organizational goals
