What you’ll do The scope of the role is to provide technical support to enterprise customers of Vodafone directly or to other teams that supports those customers, which have a multiple presence throughout our country, and they want to connect these points together (for voice and data services) or they want to connect these points on the Internet. All these connections are served through our Metro Ethernet, microwave, PSTN and GSM networks and the role is responsible to ensure the availability and quality of services for all these connections, from the customer's endpoint to Vodafone production networks (IMS network for Voice or ISP network for Internet etc). Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues which arise after service activation. Perform all required actions to support Legacy Services to customer, also doing all Vodafone internal coordination activities that follow the troubleshooting process. Organize field technician visits to customer premises in order to perform all appropriate actions. Perform Services Proactive Monitoring and run health checks. Send technical incident reports to Business customers. Who you are Technical education with qualifications in telecommunications, electronics, and computing. Excellent knowledge of LAN and WAN network topologies at layers 1,2 and 3 of the OSI model. Ability to debug TCP/IP suite protocols. Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Cisco (CCNA, CCNP, etc) or SDWAN certifications will be considered as an asset. A good command of written and spoken English. Not a perfect fit?
