Enterprise Solutions Business Development Lead Department: Sales Employment Type: Full Time Location: Columbia, Missouri Reporting To: Cody Sellers Description The Business Development Lead is responsible for driving growth of our Enterprise Solutions Division by owning the customer journey from first demonstration through the full program launch. This role blends business development, technical expertise, and customer enablement. You will demonstrate our online marketplace to prospective customers, lead onboarding for new accounts, and guide internal teams to deliver a smooth, scalable rollout. Key Responsibilities Lead tailored demonstrations that showcase the value of our online marketplace and fit Drive growth within targeted legacy customers by collaborating with Sales to uncover expansion opportunities Prospect actively to uncover new marketplace opportunities Partner and communicate with Sales through each stage of the enterprise onboarding process Translate customer challenges and needs into actionable platform driven solutions Act as the point person for onboarding new enterprise customers Gather and validate intake information including product lists, branding, approval rules and voucher logic Coordinate across Customer Success, Customization, Sales, and Supply Chain to ensure timely and accurate platform launches Train customer admins and managers as well as large groups of customer personnel on platform use and configuration Clearly communicate customer expectations to the Customer Success team Monitor and report onboarding progress, resolving issues quickly to keep projects on track Maintain a vast working knowledge of internal systems, including but not limited to: Prophet 21, Connect, Hubspot CRM, and other admin relevant sites Stay current on feature updates and upcoming enhancements of the Enterprise platform(s) Proactively share best practices internally to help build and revise the onboarding process as needed Skills, Knowledge and Expertise Experience demonstrating platforms or applications to business customers Experience in onboarding or implementing B2B solutions tied to purchasing or order workflows, is a plus Familiarity with CRM and ERP systems is a plus Experience coordinating cross-functional work across multiple teams Excellent communication skills Ability to learn new technologies and be both hands-on in using platform related technologies and manage others in their use of relevant technologies Capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced and demanding environment, while being detail-oriented Benefits Columbia Safety features a stable and enjoyable work environment with a continually replicated upward growth pattern over the past 11 years.
