Entity: Technology Job Family Group: IT&S Group Job Description: Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Enterprise Technology Engineer to contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of robust and secure enterprise-level technology solutions. This role will involve leveraging agile methodologies to deliver innovative solutions, ensuring operational resilience, and promoting best practices across various technology domains. Job Responsibilities * Design, develop, and implement complex enterprise technology solutions, adhering to best practices in system design and architecture. * Manage configuration and release processes, including continuous deployment and release pipelines, for critical business applications. * Oversee source control and code management, ensuring version control, branching strategies, and code quality standards are maintained. * Conduct thorough risk assessments and implement effective risk management strategies for enterprise technology initiatives. * Contribute to and implement information security policies and procedures, safeguarding sensitive data and systems. * Perform relational data modeling to support efficient data storage, retrieval, and analytics requirements. * Develop and maintain scripts to automate routine tasks, improve system efficiency, and enhance operational workflows. * Provide coaching and mentorship to team members on agility core practices and technical best practices. * Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across technical teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors. * Analyze system performance and operational data to identify areas for improvement and ensure service operations and resilience. * Manage and lead aspects of digital project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget. * Leverage analytics to drive data-informed decisions and optimize technology solutions. Job Qualifications * Proven experience in enterprise technology engineering with a strong understanding of system design principles. * Demonstrated expertise in agility core practices, including experience coaching and facilitating agile ceremonies. * Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system management. * Solid understanding of source control and code management tools (e.g., Git) and best practices. * Experience with continuous deployment and release methodologies and tools. * Strong knowledge of configuration management and related tools. * Practical experience in relational data modelling and database concepts. * Familiarity with information security principles and practices. * Ability to conduct effective risk management and develop mitigation strategies. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to facilitate discussions and present complex technical information clearly. * Experience in service operations and resilience planning. * Exposure to digital project management methodologies and tools. * Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and extract actionable insights.
