OVERVIEW

We are seeking skilled Riggers to join our team in the Entertainment Industry to work at the newly renovated TD Coliseum in Hamilton, ON. The Rigger will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of heavy equipment and materials using rigging techniques. This role requires a strong understanding of rigging principles, safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members on-site.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Proven experience as a Rigger in the Arena Environment.
• Strong knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety standards
• Excellent physical stamina and strength; able to lift heavy objects as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.

• Set up and dismantle rigging equipment for lifting and moving heavy loads.
• Inspect rigging equipment to ensure it is in good working condition and meets safety standards.
• Collaborate with Chief Rigger and other crew members to coordinate lifts and ensure safe operations.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to all safety regulations.
• Communicate effectively with team members regarding project requirements and safety protocols.
• Must be comfortable with working at heights.
